Madrid - Selangkah lagi Atletico Madrid memperoleh Emre Belozoglu . Atletico Madrid membawa lagi Emre Belozoglu ke luar Turki. Klub Spanyol itu telah mendapatkan tanda tangan mantan bintang Inter Milan dan Newcastle United tersebut.

Menurut situs resmi Atletico, Selasa (29/5/2012), jika Emre lulus tes kesehatan, gelandang berusia 31 tahun itu akan dikontrak dua tahun dan resmi menjadi pemain Los Colchoneros.

Jika proses itu mulus, Emre akan menjadi pemain kedua yang direkrut Atletico untuk musim depan. Sebelumnya mereka juga sudah mencapai kesepakatan dengan FC Porto untuk membisniskan penyerang internasional Uruguay, Cristian Rodriguez.

Memulai karier profesionalnya bersama klub top Turki Galatasara, Emre kemudian bermain selama empat tahun di Inter Milan (2001-2005) sebelum pindah dan memperkuat Newcastle United dari 2005 sampai 2008.

Setelah itu ia kembali ke Turki untuk memperkuat Fenerbahce. Di musim panas ini kontraknya dengan Fenerbahce habis, sehingga Atletico mendapatkannya dengan gratis.
